Thank you...

for all your encouraging and uplifting words. Some of you have been here, some are here, and some are just rooting for us. Thank you thank you thank you.

There is so much joy to be had in the waiting, but this week was just a rough one. However, I feel a new leaf being turned, and tomorrow is a fresh start.

So many thoughts run through my head and my heart, but I need to stay focused on the goal.

From day 1 of considering parenthood, my prayer has been, "God, I don't want anything to do with this unless YOU are all over it."

He is all over this. I will stop trying to CONTROL it all!

(and stop complaining)

I needed to be reminded of that today.

P.S. Herb, you are the best. Thanks for always having my back.

  1. Michelle! I'm just catching on your blog. Waiting is never fun. I remember those feelings of hope, desire, and waiting when I was was waiting to get married. Between Mackenzie and Hudson, I had two miscarriages. I understand the longing to get pregnant. There was one verse, however, to which I clung -Proverbs 13:12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life. Also if you look at Romans 12:12- "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." If you look at the Romans verse patience is a discipline in affliction, faithfulness is a discipline in prayer. What we often neglect is that joyfulness is a discipline in hope!!!

    Be joyful!!!
    love you!
